Thanks to a parabolic ramp, every "successful" putt is returned to the player at the same distance as it would have been if it had been missed, any other result is a failure.

Alternative Targets

The three smaller dot targets allow the player to focus and use them as another common target - especially for those who prefer to aim for the back of the cup on putts, but they can also be used to allow the player to adjust to slight breaks in the driving surface.

The micro-target

The introduction of a new highly visible "pop-down" target was based on feedback from players who noticed that they sometimes "lost sight" of point due to their standing position and eye angle when the micro-target was in the "open" position. The decision to add an ever-present, more vivid target to the ramp was seen as a critical improvement.
