How to choose a golf ball?

It is difficult for a beginner to find the right golf ball, especially with the multitude of models available on the market. Indeed, there are balls for all tastes and for all budgets (the price of a golf ball ranges from 1€ to 5€). Moreover, balls are composed of several layers that influence your game: control of trajectory, distance and ball effects.

As the size and weight of the balls are standardised, you only have to worry about one thing: the right compromise between distance, backspin and feel. If you are a beginner, we recommend 2-layer golf balls, which are more economical and give you a start in feel. For advanced players, we recommend a 2/3 layer ball. Finally, for players with a handicap of less than 10, we recommend 3/4/5 layer golf balls as they are better in terms of compression, feel and depth control.

There are also recycled or second hand golf balls that can be used for friendly play. These balls are collected from the course to give them a second life. These balls are of lesser quality than new ones, so they are less expensive, which is why big ball consumers prefer to play with cheap balls.

On Espace Golf you will find a selection of new and recycled golf balls, tees, as well as all the accessories needed to personalise and maintain them.
